In a small village at Italian town, hundreds of years ago, due to some financial issues a small business owner borrowed a large amount of money from a money lender. The money lender was so rich and gave lot of money for his financial problems to solve that. But that time the business man don't know about the bad mindset of the money lender.
This money lender was a very old, unattractive looking guy. The money lender taken the advantage of the poor situation of the business owner. He decided to offer the businessman with a deal that would totally wipe out the all debts that the business man borrowed from him. However, the trick of that money lender was that he would only wipe out the debt if he could marry the businessman’s daughter.

The business man known the trick of the money lender was trying to get marry his daughter. But also he had no choice to came out from the offer because of some financial problems. Then the offer was accepted by the business man because no other way.

After his daughter heard about the offer, his daughter don't want to marry the money lender. Because she has her own life to live with her loveable one. For her father's freedom she decided to accept the offer by scarifying her life.
The pebble game

Before of that the money lender decided to play a game with the daughter. And also this game will decide whether the business man's daughter get marriage with him or not. The money lender said that he will place 2 pebbles into a bag, one is white and another one is black. The daughter would then have to take the bag and pick out a pebble.
- If it was black pebble, the debt would be totally wiped, but the money lender would then marry her.
- If it was white pebble, the debt would also be totally wiped, but the daughter not want to marry the money lender.

He went to the businessman’s garden, And the he saw the group of pebbles that is in the colour of black and white randomly. Then the money lender bent over and picked up two pebbles from the group.
When the time he picking them up, the daughter accidently noticed that he just picked up two black pebbles and placed them both into the bag.
He then asked the daughter to take the bag and pick one.

The daughter probably had three choices to handle the situation.
- Refuse to take a pebble from the bag. And this won't help to wipe all debts that her father have.
- Take the both pebbles out of the bag and expose to her father that the money lender for cheating. And this will make the money lender angry. It also don't wipe all of the debts her father having.
- Pick a pebble from that bag fully she well knowing that it was black and sacrifice fully herself for her father’s freedom. But it will make her life unhappily.

She had only one choice from above three situations. Then she thought out of the box to overcome that situation to make her side happy. She picked a pebble from the bag, and before looking at it accidentally dropped it into the midst of the other group of pebbles.
She said to the Money lender, “Oh, sorry sir I accidently dropped the pebble that I picked. If you Never mind, if you look back into the bag for the other one that is left, you will be able to tell which pebble I have picked.”
The pebble left in the bag is obviously black colour, and seeing as the money lender didn’t want to be exposed that he is fake, also he had to play along as if the pebble the daughter dropped was white colour pebble, and cleared all her father’s debt.

It’s always should possible to overcome any tough situation through out of the box thinking, Don't think inside the choices you have. Don't make excuses take a new way of thinking to over come any hard situations.
